Wrapping paper that is cheap but not crappy?

I like to stock up on wrapping paper and I usually do this after the holiday season when it is marked down. Problem is, I ran out in the spring so now I have to pay full price to have stuff for the upcoming holiday season as well as birthdays and other events. I want to find some cheap paper that is still nice. It seems like a lot of cheaper paper though is see-through or rips easy which is annoying. Does anyone know of any brands that aren't expensive and are cheaper?

My wife buys all her wrapping paper at Costco. It comes in huge Costco sized rolls and lasts her what seems to be multiple years.

The only place I buy wrapping paper anymore is Target. I either get the $3 rolls or $5 rolls. It isn't expensive but I know it isn't the cheapest out there. Best to buy it after seasonal sales when you can get it 50% off.

I usually just pick it up on Amazon. They sell packs and bundles on there. I am not sure if it would be considered cheap or not but I do know the more you buy at once, the cheaper it is. I am sure there are some wholesale places online though where you can get wrapping paper for under $2 a roll but you have to be willing to spend more up front.

The cheapest best paper is always that "craft" stuff. It is brown and looks like a paper bag. Sometimes they come plain and other times in print. It is very sturdy for paper and almost always the cheapest option at the store.
