Sophia
I started getting a rash from sunlight about 10 years ago and ever summer if my skin is in direct sunlight for more than 10 minutes, I get tiny white spots that itch like mad! They lessen as the summer goes on and usually by mid to late August, I rarely get them. I was told it is a sun allergy and it will normalize and stop completely as keep getting exposure. Anyone else have this issue? I still am puzzled as to how it even started for me!
Rachel
I've never had an issue like that. Just the usual tan or sunburn. I don't know anyone who's allergic to the sun. I thought it was pretty rare. Did you get it confirmed? Like did you see an allergy specialist to make sure? I went to one when I was a kid, and I found out I was allergic to dust mites and cats 😞. I love cats! So yeah, dust and cats, my worst enemy, as my house is a dusty mess haha! Anyway, check with an allergy specialist, you never know. You could have other allergies you're unaware of as well. Mila
I don't think this is something you can get tested for. It is an immune reaction you can have. From what I understand, it seems to primarily effect women and is brought on in part from deficiencies. Seems to be common with people who lack enough vitamin C and vitamin D3 (which is kind of ironic!).
Ella
I never knew this was a thing! I looked it up and sure enough, it is! I would say this either has to do with something you are eating or some kind of issue with your vitamins. Maybe you should get some blood work done and see where you stand?
