Sophia
This started about 4 or 5 years ago where I live. More and more people started blowing them off on Christmas. It seems like 3 or 4 houses on our yard alone partake in it. I have only ever heard of this in Asian countries. We have always had them for New Year's Eve going into Day at midnight but the Christmas stuff is fairly new.
Mila
Not that I am aware of. I know I hear them for New Year's every year but I don't ever recall hearing any on Christmas day. To be fair though, I do not stay home. I go to my parent's house so for all I know, there are people doing them in my area. I live about 25 min away from my parent's house. Scarlett
We don't have any here. I don't even think they do them for New Year's Eve at midnight either. Likely has to do with the laws in my area. The only time I hear or see them is for the 4th of July.
