Carson
I know Twitch and YouTube are the top two streaming platforms out there, but there are others like Trovo out there trying to make a name for themselves. Should we be jumping on these other streaming platforms? Or should we stick with the main big ones and skip the smaller ones?
James
Think it all depends on where your audience is. You can also stream to multiple platforms at the same time with the right software I think. The important thing is focusing and just working on mastering one of the platforms as that can be a full time job in itself.
Sophia
Twich and YouTube are a mess and continue to be more of a mess with who they protect and promote. If it wasn't for the handful of people I enjoy watching, I would bin both! I wish there were better platforms but most can't compete.
Lana
That's up to the content creator. If you feel like you could reach newer audiences with these platforms, I say go for it, but if you don't see any growth at the other platforms, I say just stick with Twitch or YouTube. But if anything, I'd stick with just Twitch and use YouTube to post your vods and clip videos.
