Mila
I noticed in my area that where there are no street lights, by law you need to have a light post in your front yard. I guess this makes sense but the cost is put on you for the electricity which some argue is better and cheaper over all than being taxed for it by the city. I am trying to find out more information about it but I don't know what the law is actually called. Anyone know?
James
This is going to be at the city ordinance level most likely. I would start your search at wherever your cities laws database is.
Ella
This depends. Is it part of an HOA issue or an actual country issue? I know where I can look to find the specific "name" for the law you are after but it likely won't be listed quite the same where you live unless we live in the same or similar areas.
