Ella
I want to learn and understand stocks more so I can try my hand at investing. I am just not sure where to begin! I would like to find a website or two with information on this that is current and from someone who knows the current stock market.
James
@Ella That is a really wide category. What exactly are you looking to understand? One of my favorite sites used to be SeekingAlpha. Reading all the opinions of so many different people it was great. I subscribe to a couple authors over there for tips on Industries where I like to invest my cash. Seeking Alpha is now a paid site though and they only let you read a certain number of articles every month now. So I really only go there for my premium content I am subscribed to now. If you want some opinions and insight on macro economic topics I really enjoy reading this guy https://heisenbergreport.com/. He does lean on the more bearish side of things most of the time. Understandable with everything going on out there in the world. The major brokerages all have tons of content too. Check out the news section over at Fidelity https://www.fidelity.com/insights/overview What other resources are people using to learn about stock market investments?
Sophia
I am not very knowledged on the topic but you can learn a lot on Reddit. I know that sounds like a joke but that is where that Gamestop thing started. A bunch of people learned the market together and took it over. I can remember the subredit though, I am sure someone here knows which one I am talking about though!

I guess I want to get a general understand of the market, the terms, how it functions, how to spot a good or bad investment, and how to generally track and trade stock. So basically everything but in the most dumbed down way possible! haha! Thanks for those sources, I will look into them.
