Is crossfit good for weight loss?

Any kind of consistent effort that takes you outside what you are currently doing will be effective for weight loss and physical maintenance. 

Of course CrossFit works as does all the other different kinds of work outs they come out with. 

It is all about putting in time consistently and as you start to plateau you just add more on making sure you are never getting to comfortable.

I think this started becoming a fad a good 5 years ago. I remember a few of my friends talking about it. I think it is probably a great exercise but you have to enjoy it. I feel like most people who need to lose weight would not enjoy it, at least not at first.
