Kuro
I was almost always skeptical of dropshipping from the beginning, although I do admit there are some people who profit from it. Do you still think it is a viable business model?
James
Any model will work as long as you buy low enough and can sell high enough. I am not a huge fan of drop shipping as I do not have enough control over the products I am selling my customers. I have worked in ecommerce for years and I am fine hiring a company to ship our orders for us but I like the products to flow through one of my teams hands before they make it to a customer so I know exactly what they are getting. There are a lot of people and products out there so this will be a viable model for eternity.
Emma
I feel the same way as James, you leave a lot of control in the hand's of a third party operation and things can easily become messy. I prefer having more control when it comes to selling something to people backed by my name.
Kuro
I am of a similar thinking, banking on third parties for things like shipping, product quality, manufacturing etc seems like way too much risk especially since you are directly liable to your customers.
