Blood pressure checker for home use

I had a blood pressure machine at home many years ago, but we ended up throwing it out due to it dying on us. But, I was wondering about those ones you can put on the wrist. Are they any good? Or should you get the machines that wrap around your arm instead?

Yeah you should be able to find a lot of good ones on Amazon for $30-$60 or so. Not too pricey. I got one, but I made sure to get one with bigger band, because the last one I got barely fit my arm. Make sure to read reviews though, because some on Amazon look good, but aren't as good as you'd think. If anything, I'd search google for doctor approved ones, as those will give you the best reading.

I got one from Walgreens a few years ago as my husband's doctor wanted me to check it for him once a day for a month. It works good and we even had it tested by his doctor and he said it does just fine. I am not sure about the wrist ones though, this is an arm one.
