Streaming a good business to get into?

I'm really considering a move into video game streaming, or even streaming in general. Does anyone here get into streaming? Maybe it's a game, or maybe it's just to chat with fans and followers. 

I've been thinking of streaming myself, but I don't know if I have the personality to really go anywhere.

I am not into streaming at all but I am an entrepreneur. I know people make a good living in the streaming market. 

Just try giving it a go. Start up cost to setup a nice stream is really low. Then do it. If you are consistent and you engage with members of the community you will build a following. Then your following will guide how you grow by providing feedback. 

The worst thing is not knowing and the only way to know is to try. If it does not work out you learned something in the process so it is still a win. Just make sure to give it an honest go. Build a plan and execute it.

I second what James says. Just give it a go and see where it takes you. If it fails, you at least tried, and if it succeeds, that you have yourself to thank for pushing yourself to try it. Not everyone will be capable of streaming, but if you have the talent, the strive to do it, and so on, you will do just fine streaming.

I have considered it but have been put off by it, as a woman because I see what other women do to get attention. I see women who work hard and others who just use their looks and the ones who use their looks earn more and get more attention. It is the world we live in but it has discouraged me from ever trying.

I'm sorry I laughed a little. Before starting my first successful company I worked in the service industry. Health club attendant, spa attendant, Bus Boy, waiter, and casino card dealer. As a guy I always had to put on a super positive attitude to grind those tips. I had to study fresh talking points, sports, and current events. I swear the women had such an easier time making money. No hard feelings I get it. Guys are not going to take care of guys as much as they will ladies. 

I know some of the steamers are just working it but you don't have to be one of those girls. You can be the girl that is great at whatever they are streaming and just so happens to be a lady.
